Allett 34" C Range Turf Rake Cartridge (C34e) Description

The Allett Evolution series is designed to fit the 34-inch Turf Rake (E). It is a very useful tool that can do much more than simply remove lateral growth and dead vegetation and moss. It can be used to remove player footprints and broken grass stalks from the pitch after football games. It has become one of our most popular cartridges due to its larger tines for more efficient collection.

Because of thatch, the earth cannot assimilate vital substances such as water, oxygen, fertiliser, and minerals. Imagine investing a great deal of money in fertiliser, only for it to remain atop the thatch level and be washed away by the next rainfall.

Additionally, thatch may promote the development of diseases such as fusarium and red thread.

Our opinion is that if there is more than 14 inch of thatch, action must be taken. There are significant thatch effects on high-performance surfaces. Poor thatch conditions, for instance, could have an impact on the ball's smoothness and speed. In modern sports, the emphasis is on pace. It may also affect the ball's measured cleg bounce.
