Allett 34" C Range Sorrel Roller Cartridge Description

Occasionally using a Sorrel Roller on your pitches is essential for aeration.

By penetrating the soil with round openings rather than slots, the 34" Sorrel Roller causes the least amount of soil disturbance for aeration purposes possible. Since it provides the soil with a larger access point, it is recommended to perform this step prior to fertilising. The multi-toothed drum will puncture the surface of the pitch, thereby releasing surface compaction, an essential step that allows air and nutrients to readily reach the root zone.

As it penetrates the soil more deeply, sorrel rolling is advantageous for delicate grass and sports fields, such as cricket pitches, bowling greens, and tennis courts. The pitch is maintained in excellent condition by the built-in roller, which eliminates any flaws.

The sorrel roller rapidly creates a vast number of minute holes in the turf. Air is necessary for root growth. Use the Sorrel roller frequently on your playing surfaces, particularly in high-wear and high-traffic areas, to facilitate aeration of the compacted soil. Because it provides a faster route to the soil, it is recommended to do this prior to fertilising.
