Allett 27" C-Range 6-Blade Cartridge Description

The six blades on the 27" cutting cylinder are of equal quality to the cylinder's ten blades.

The main blade and cylinder of the six-blade quick-change cartridge are made of ground and tempered steel.

Because there is more room for the grass clippings to pass through, a mower with fewer blades can typically manage longer, thicker, or wetter grass more effectively. With more blades, more incisions can be made over the same distance, resulting in a slightly sharper cut.

The optimal cylinder will primarily depend on the type of land you intend to cut. The six blade would be more than adequate on a football pitch, for example, because growth can be lengthier. On golf courses, where the grass must be uniformly chopped and kept shorter (approximately 3mm final cut), a 10 blade is more suitable.
