Allett 24" C Range Turf Rake Cartridge Description

The 24" Turf Rake is primarily designed to lift lateral growth, remove moss, and eliminate dead grass material, but it is capable of much more. Additionally, it can be used to remove broken grass blades and player imprints after football matches. One of our most popular cartridges now has lengthier tines for improved collection.

The presence of thatch prevents vital nutrients, water, oxygen, and even fertiliser from reaching the roots. Imagine spending a fortune on fertiliser only to have it lie on the surface of the thatch and be washed away by the next rainstorm.

Thatch can also harbour diseases, such as fusarium and red thread.

We recommend a thatch height of no more than one-fourth of an inch; any higher and you must take action. Thatch can have a significant impact on high-performance surfaces, affecting the ball's fluidity and velocity, for example. Today's sports are all about pace. It can also influence the ball bounce cleg reading.
