Allett 20" QC De-Thatcher Cartridge Description

The 20" Dethatcher cartridge is the most aggressive, as its wider-spaced, sturdier tines penetrate the soil to a maximum depth of 6mm.

The Dethatcher effectively eliminates the densest deposits of thatch from severely overgrown lawns.

The machine aggressively penetrates the soil's surface to collect and eliminate layers of thatch, including dead grass and leaves, plant stolons, and weed growth. As soon as this is eliminated, lawns become more robust, disease-resistant, and verdant. On lawns where the risk of disease is greater, moss should not be allowed to develop.

In order to remove excessive thatch and lichen, the lawn must have sufficient moisture to recover in late spring or autumn. This enhanced soil permeability allows more water, oxygen, and nutrients to reach the vegetation roots. The dethatcher cartridge is twice as effective as the Verticut cartridge at removing material.
