Allett 20" QC Aerator Cartridge Description
The 'non-driven' 20" Aerator cartridge perforates the soil with microscopic holes, making it simpler for air, water, and nutrients to reach the roots. This is advantageous because it promotes deeper root development, resulting in healthier, denser, and lusher grass.
In addition, the aerator facilitates water penetration and reduces soil compaction. Overly dense particles in compacted soil may impede the soil's ability to assimilate vital nutrients. Since there are no obstacles to this process, aerating your lawn prevents the roots from lacking water.
If your vegetation dries out quickly, aeration may be necessary. Give your lawn some breathing room by removing a small section that is 4 inches deep and has a thatch layer that is taller than half an inch.
NOTE: This cartridge is not a vigorous aeration instrument and can only penetrate 5mm deep. It functions best on surfaces that are well-kept, free of thatch, or mowed below 20 mm, and is designed to penetrate the surface minimally in order to break up surface crust.
