Allett 20" C-Range 6-Blade Cartridge Description

The blades of the 20-inch, six-blade cutting cylinder are comparable to those of the 10-blade cylinder.

The cylinder and lower blade of the 6-blade quick-change cartridge are made of hardened and ground steel.

There is more space for grass clippings to travel through on a mower with fewer blades, so it can generally handle longer, thicker, or wetter grass. With more blades, there are more incisions per distance travelled, resulting in a slightly sharper cut.

The type of area you will be cutting will determine the most appropriate cylinder. On a football pitch, for instance, a six-blade mower would suffice as growth can be lengthier. On golf courses, where the grass must be uniformly cut to a shorter length (approximately 3 mm), a 10 blade would be more appropriate.
