Allett 17" QC De-Thatcher Cartridge Description

The 17" Dethatcher is the most aggressive cartridge, as its wider, sturdier tines penetrate the soil to a maximum depth of 6mm.

The Dethatcher effectively removes the thickest thatch layers from severely overgrown lawns.

The machine vigorously penetrates the soil's surface in order to collect and eliminate thatch layers such as decaying grass and leaves, plant stolons, and weed growth. After this is eliminated, lawns become healthier, denser, and lusher because they are less susceptible to disease. On lawns with a higher disease risk, moss should not be permitted to thrive.

In order for the lawn to recuperate, excessive thatch and moss should be removed at least once per year in late spring or autumn when there is sufficient moisture. This enables more water, air, and nutrients to reach the grass roots by penetrating the soil. Comparatively, the dethatcher cartridge eliminates twice as much material as the Verticut cartridge.
