Hansa C21 Petrol Road-Tow Chipper Description
This world-class chipper is the largest of the gravity self-feeding options available from Hansa. Its cutting disc has a chipping capacity of 130 mm in diameter, allowing it to meet the rigorous requirements of the most demanding operator. The electric start V-twin engine makes beginning a breeze, and its inlet chute has been specially designed to facilitate the feeding of thicker branches and foliage.
The C21RT is propelled by a Honda GX630 engine with 21 horsepower. An industrial quality electric start engine. Together with Honda, we have conducted a comprehensive engine compatibility testing programme to ensure that the capabilities of the C21RT are precisely matched to the output of the Honda GX630. This ensures the longevity of the engine and chipper's high performance.
The C21RT provides exceptional efficacy in terms of self-feeding. At 1800 RPM, the large 80 kg cutting disc rotates, producing self-perpetuating inertia. The airflow created by the wing-shaped cutting disc efficiently draws foliage into the machine through the 200 x 285 mm infeed opening. The 1885 mm height of the outlet chute enables the user to load chip onto a trailer, ute, vehicle or stockpile.
Designed and manufactured in New Zealand with the highest quality materials for a lifetime of use. Soft Start Technology engages the belts between the engine and the cutting disc for smooth operation and to safeguard the engine from shock loading.
The steel construction and powdercoated finish with zinc shield corrosion protection provide durability.
By removing two fasteners from the housing, routine servicing and maintenance can be performed with ease. The two blades made from modified A8 steel have a remarkable lifespan and can be sharpened up to ten times. To gain access to the belts, merely remove the belt guard.
