Hansa C16c Petrol Gravity-Fed Compact Chipper Description
The most compact and effective chipper on the market that can fit through a standard doorway. It can be simply manoeuvred and operated in areas with restricted access due to its compact design. With a width of only 650mm and a chipping capacity of 110 mm, the C16c is the ideal solution for contractors seeking to increase productivity on challenging locations.
The C16c is propelled by a 16-horsepower Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine. An industrial engine that is simple to initiate. We have conducted extensive engine matching testing to ensure that the C16c's capabilities are precisely matched to the 16HP Vanguard engine's output. This ensures the longevity of the engine and chipper's high performance.
The C16c has remarkable self-feeding performance. The 50 kilogramme cutting disc rotates at 2,000 revolutions per minute, producing self-perpetuating inertia. The 170 x 220 mm infeed opening is pulled into the machine quickly and effectively by the airflow produced by the wing-shaped cutting disc. The 1485mm height of the outlet chute enables the user to transfer chip onto a trailer, ute or stockpile.
Designed and manufactured in New Zealand with the highest quality materials for a lifetime of use. Soft Start Technology engages the belts between the engine and the cutting disc for smooth operation and to safeguard the engine from shock loading.
The steel construction and powdercoated finish with zinc shield corrosion protection provide durability.
By removing two fasteners from the housing, routine servicing and maintenance can be performed with ease. The two blades made from modified A8 steel have a remarkable lifespan and can be sharpened up to ten times. To gain access to the belts, merely remove the belt guard.
